1.     1st or Grenadier Foot Guards. Database (over 13,800 names UPDATED REGULARLY) containing biographical as well as army service information on men of the Regiment during the Napoleonic period. The year, 2006, marked the 350th anniversary of the raising of the Regiment, known at the time as His Majestie’s Regiment of Guards.  Now available on CD an INDEX to the surviving ATTESTATIONS and various other documents covering the period 1775-1817. A total of 9,309 documents are involved, these documents are all held at the Regimental HQ Grenadier Guards. (Also see publications below.)
