Employment

Since 23 June 2010, I have been an actuarial consultant at Algorithmics (an IBM company since 21 October 2011), 5th Floor, 30 North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5GP, following the sale of a software business by Towers Watson. I write user documentation and provide user support.
From 1 October 2003 to 22 June 2010, I was an actuarial consultant at Towers Watson (formerly Watson Wyatt), 21 Tothill Street, London, SW1H 9LL, following the outsourcing of the actuarial department of Barclays Life. Initially, my work was largely a continuation of what I had done at Barclays Life, but from January 2005, I became increasingly involved with the user documentation for a piece of financial modelling software produced internally and used both internally and by external clients.
From 14 August 2000 to 30 September 2003, I was a trainee actuary at Barclays Bank, Murray House, 1 Royal Mint Court, London, EC3N 4HH. I joined Barclays straight from university and worked in the finance actuarial team. My work was mainly concerned with the embedded valuations of Barclays Life.
