The Life and Times of Charles Darwin When A.P.M.S. Productions started work on a drama documentary on the life of Charles Darwin for American and U.K. television networks they needed stockades and roundhouses to illustrate the living conditions of the Inca tribesmen of South America. Salisbury Plain in England was chosen as the location and Wiltshire Hurdles were asked to reproduce authentic replicas of the Indians' living quarters. Bill Oram of Wiltshire Hurdles said " We had to work from original
illustrations to ensure authenticity and of course work to a strict
timetable and budget. Everyone was really pleased with the result and we
are looking forward to seeing the film next year on television."
Wiltshire Hurdles have also been featured on H.T.V. and Southern Television mainly through their work on woodland conservation.
